What do we mean by Mental Healing Awareness? At a mental level, self-awareness means paying attention to thoughts as they arise, without trying to manipulate or control them. Many people are willing to take responsibility for their behavior, but no many take responsibility for their thinking. Yet health may be affected as much by what we think as by what we do. Being aware of our thoughts can help to identify beliefs underlying experience and enable us to recognize how often those thoughts become self-fulfilling prophecies. To unveil our mental process, we need to develop- Curiosity, Understanding, and Self-Compassion. Just as we learn to listen to our bodies, to discover what keeps our body well, paying close attention to our thoughts can help us see what contributes to our happiness and wholeness.
